In the heart of Kolkata, six young women form a dance group in a city and country unfamiliar with their style—waacking. Led by Ishani, an expert waacker, and Lopa, their scrappy manager, they face challenges on and off the dance floor, battling personal, familial, and societal pressures. Each of the six women is unique and unapologetic, with her own issues. United by a fearless defiance, they live life on their own terms, claiming their hard- won space.
